UAE markets fall slightly to limit 2007 performance

Abu Dhabi: The UAE markets reported flat performance on Sunday as the Emirates Securities general index retreated marginally by 0.37 per cent to 6,075.06, indicating that the total 2007 gains will be about 50 per cent.

In Dubai, the general index fell slightly by a minute 0.04 per cent to stand at 6,000.98, with Emaar Properties maintaining the uptrend and gaining 0.66 per cent to close at Dh15.30, accounting for more than Dh668 million worth of traded shares, while the market's total stood at Dh2.39 billion.
