Security clearances are an executive branch action; being the Chief Executive a sitting President can share anything he wants with anyone he deems prudent and necessary or desirable. It's only a crime if someone accesses classified information without executive authority. Even reading classified info is not a crime for someone without a clearance if they didn't procure it themselves. Reporters get stuff all the time.
