Edwards is at his peak right now, and I'm hoping he can sustain it for a few weeks. Hilary and Obama are aiming their guns against each other and neither of them are the enemy. They are both running to be the nominee while Edwards is the only one staying on message and running as a candidate for president. It's effective and in just the last few days I find I am taking him a lot more seriously, and I suspect my feelings reflect the feeling of others.

It's all academic to me as the nominee will have been selected before my own state's primary, but I am definitely at this point (taking into account that we don't live in a world where Kucinich will be taken seriously) rooting for Edwards first, Obama second and Hillary third. I will be disappointed if Hillary is the nominee, but I have said it before, and I will say it again, as Democrats we must not become too attached to any of the candidates as any of the others might win and we can not hold grudges going into the general election. If Hillary wins the demo nomination, I will support her enthusiastically against any of the republicans and just not worry about the primaries anymore.
