I think most people just report the crime, I don't think the police are used to people standing up for their property or their neighbors property. We have become so accustomed to letting the criminals have free rein over our lives that we don't know how to react when someone stands up and says enough is enough. I think that's what Mr. Horn was doing. He was standing up saying "I've had enough." Pasadena is a working class town. The majority of the people don't have big pensions to retire on. They would be luck if they have pensions at all. They don't drive around in fancy cars, most live paycheck to paycheck. They do have a little money left over for going out once a week but for the most part, they are hard working, honest, got your back people. I think Mr. Horn made a huge mistake staying on that phone. I do believe other people will learn from Mr. Horn's mistake and either let their neighbor call it in or wait until the smoke clears.
