Qualcomm has until Jan 31, 2009 to develope a work around. Exactly what Irwin asked for in court, 18 months. The question is does Qualcomm already have a work around like they did in the ITC case with Broadcom for the infringing WCDMA patents. I noticed that neither HSUPA or HSDPA are mentioned which means that the msm 6280 and 6275 for enhanced multimedia and the msm 7200 and 7600 for convergence might not be covered under this ruling.
