<<No icy streets out there?>>

We had back to back ice storms in early December that really hit the salt supply. Yesterday the forecast was that any snow would miss us and where it fell would be done by 6pm yesterday.

That was a snafu, started snowing here at 2pm yesterday and snowed and snowed until 4pm today. Only about 3" but with the 40mph wind the plows can only keep the main roads open. I live on a T3 road which means it's 10th on a list of 10 to keep open, that's why I have a Jeep. Headed to 0 tonight and 45 on Saturday.

Nuker died today and garbage is early tomorrow. Wife questioned my sanity of driving the 100' to put the nuker out. Slick, cold, windy, I didn't want to fall on the concrete and have the damn thing land on my head. It seems that when I age it's more about safety than what I can do.
