LOL - well if read the news you know paygo is gone and the earmarks were everywhere! To believe democrats are fiscally responsible is to simply hate Bush to the point of blindness.

It is true that Clinton had balanced bugets - that even surprised him - due to the internet bubble and divided government. Slick was also for NAFTA and GATT. He would find himself lonely with these positions in today's Dem party.

Sadly I think the best answer is divided government. Neither party can be trusted with sole possession of the keys to the kingdom.
