I understand what you mean exactly.

Most of my favorite singers are women, and I listen to them over and over until my wife complains.

I love Enya, for instance. Her music personifies my eleven year experience in Alaska, for what ever reason.

If I were ever to come within her view I would simply melt, as you relate.

Enya is the richest woman in Ireland. They call her music "New Age." What the heck does that mean?

I love those little joints like the one in your link. Once I was in one of them with my assistant relaxing after a long week. The singer was a guy with a guitar, and he played Coal Tattoo. We got acquainted, and he wrote the lyrics on a placemat. I still have it, and learned to play the song (after a fashion) myself. The year after I met him he joined The New Cristy Minstrels, a group that I loved. He was awesome.
