Steve- I spent about 60 hours looking into becoming a soes trader back when BLOCK first started busting out offices around the country. Your post was very informative and opinionated in a believable way. I'm ready to give full time SOES serious consideration, and your post was very interesting. Few questions: Does Insight Trading have a web site (guess I could just call them)? What do people think about Block (they have an office in my home town-- Boston) Is there a current source of FAQ or other volume of info about the "state" of SOES trading in Fall 1997? Is there any consensus as to how successful SOES traders are now that they are a more entrenced part of the trading world? Thanks Steve and anyone who can help. I read aprox. 500 posts about SOES when the "Inc." article about Block came out. Time for me to get re-aquanted with the new realities and consider jumping in. EVB
