The java battle between MSFT and SUNW: how would it affect NCs in general?

In a country like India, people may not opt for PCs for their prohibitive maintenance costs but they will opt for NCs (for web surfing as well as computing).

Do you have any idea whether IBM (or your marketing department) is exploring countries like India for marketing NCs? I am sure, with the rising middle class, NCs will be a great hit in India.

Because I am not a technical person, I really don't know whether I am asking the right question (the first question). Any input will be appreciated.
