To answer your 2 questions;
No, but our home looks pretty darn close in scope & detail to Chris' but our home is just 1/2 the size.
Yes, Chris (the Host) & I restored a good deal of the trim/ cabinetry, plumbing & electric.

His home is pre-'29 crash... lot's of money flowing freely back then too, hence the extravagance of the details in his home.

Our home was built in 1857.
The three homes we restored behind our home are roughly 1840's vintage. but 4 properties that remain standing on the block are pre-Revolutionary War.

Our enclave,Germantown, PA is at least 100+ years older than Philadelphia.
Philadelphia Twp absorbed Germantown Twp in 1854.
