If you think health care is expensive now, wait
until you see what it costs when it's free!

In general, the art of government consists of taking as much money
as possible from one party of the citizens to give to the other.

-Mark Twain (1866 )

appetite at one end and no responsibility at the other.
-Ronald Reagan

I don't make jokes I just watch the government and report the facts.

I should brace myself for the usual unfettered capitalist movement comments that rarely deviates from supply-side voodoo economics, free-market (large)tax cuts for the rich, and greed-is-good mantra.

All of the things you mentioned are preferable to the fettered freedoms approach required to confiscate everyone's productivity for "the good of the collective". Your comment about voodoo economics come right out of a 1980's democrat talking point memo, those who have learned anything on the topic since then probably don't use voodoo talking points any more.

BTW did you notice that the rich's share of Income tax payments went up as a percentage as a result of the President Bush tax cuts? Talk about modern democrat voodoo talking points.

And for the record, greed is a powerful motivator. If it were not you would not be arguing so hard to use my money to finance your ideals.
