I learned the hard way many years ago when I actually believed those talking heads that always seem to say 'just hold on, it will come back, time is your friend'... Think about those that bought stocks like JDSU in the three digits, Cisco at 75, SUNW at 60, and many others during the last boom eight years ago. Most likely they will never see that money again...
