Peter, I am vehemently opposed to so-called socialized medicine. Always have been. Always will be. What may come as a great shock to you and the thread is the number of medical personnel, including otherwise astute physicians, who do clamor for socialized medicine. They are more than fed up with the the vagaries and contrariness of private health insurance companies--vagaries and contrariness they do not have to contend with when treating patients who are endowed with government supplied health insurance. Go figure. - Holly
