The reason I support elimination of the state border Balkanisation of the insurance market is because it would spur competition and save millions of consumers major money. It would be shocking if medical expenses did not decrease initially as a result of freeing the market. That would be difficult to accomplish but a piece of cake compared to getting people to give up their "employer paid" health insurance.
