Solar panel rooftops are still rather expensive and can only pay for themselves after 10 years minimum (in the Arizona desert), and that's counting government subsidies and tax breaks. 10 years? I wish. I would put them up tomorrow. If they pay for themselves in 10 years you would be crazy not to... The technology just isn't there yet. There's a lot of faith and wishful thinking being placed in current renewable technologies just because oil is so politically incorrect these days. I didn't think you could get away for the politics of the thing. Never mind.
