The question about AMD's recent stock price movement is, a) is it because of the shock value of the coming Q4 writedowns OR b) is is because Q4 operating income will be worse than Q3, ($226M) If (a), I think the bottom is in. The value assigned to the assets purchased from ATI does not matter one cent. If (b), it is not. Petz
