They do have a vocabulary and having owned dogs all my life I knew something no good was going on from her tone.

We had this nasty, nasty, German bred Shepard at the gas station I was a mechanic at in my younger years. We moved the wrecker in at night and left one of it's doors open and the windows down and King would sleep in there. One Saturday I come in and open the front and am turning on lights and getting cash from the safe when from out in the dark shop I hear, "Mr! Hey Mr!" I walk out the office door into the shop and turn the lights on to see a guy sitting on top of the yellow light on the top of the wrecker with King laying calmly in the bed below looking up out the top of his head at the guy. He said, "Mr could you get this dog away from me, he's already chewed me up pretty good." I said, "Why don't you just hang out there until the cops get here my good friend."

Must have been a long night sitting up there praying you don't fall asleep and fall down to the dog:)

King could have gotten to him anyhow but I think he liked the guy treed and sniveling:)
