It didn't cook all day, just 3-1/4 hours on low, per the recipe. But, your comment is similar to my Sweet Shirley who says she would never put pasta in the crock pot. I guess I won't either, from now on. I'm through experimenting with these things. AS a matter of fact, I sat down the other night and made a list of meals that I like and from now on, that's what I'll be eating. Grilled meats, Wyler's soup starters, pressure cooker roasts and a very few Lean Cuisine thingies. And the occasional Wendy's burger.
