<<<<Datek, please don't change the Web interface. Keep it SIMPLE. That's the whole point. Adding more functions & graph will further slow down the system. IMHO, the current interface is fine. I don't want Datek's system spending precious computing power on generating fancy HTML files instead of processing orders efficiently. If Datek moves all free quotes to a separated server, I bet lots of people will be even happier. For example, orders, orders2, ..., orders8 are dedicated for order entry. To get quote, why not create a server called quotes.datek.com. Anyway, give the top priority to order entry. Certainly this is only my dream.>>>> I whole heartedly AGREE! Your major emphasis going into 1998 should be to SIMPLIFY! Not to overburden your already overtaxed servers. Get rid of all non essential items--like the DATEK banner logo on every page.. Gee, like I don't already know my brokerage is Datek. Everything should be in text as much as possible. Don't use Frames or boxes or grids. Just plain old fast text! I want fast executions--that's all. Not quotes. Make more express order 7 machines.
