Not all rallies are created equal... The reason for the lack of celebration among gold bugs on this rally is simple... many of them missed it. This rally defied traditional "TA" and left many on the sidelines. The reason? Goldman Sach's "bum rush" shakeout of gold bugs. Check out yesterdays volume on the Institutional Fav's like NEM and ABX. Huuuuuuge volume. These are not the stocks of the individual bugs. These are the Institutional plays. Tomorrow morning I'll post some charts and show the reason for the lack of glee amongst bugs on this rally, and why there was so much doubt. Volume - is the single most important TA indicator. Volume speaks.... well -- volumes. And over the last couple of days it spoke loudly. If you nailed this move - as always... move up trailing stops and take some chips off the table into strength... so you have the cash to buy pullbacks. I'll have some charts and a rant tomorrow morning. This one goes down as "Goldman's Goldbug Bum Rush." "Do as they do... not as they say." Mo later, S.O.T.B.
