Steve and do not forget Andy's recent speach where he described his new vision of differenet standards for different application instead of one standard for all that is servers are to have a separate standard from workstations which would be of course in turn differnt from home pc and from regular business PCs and from ...... It is already started with slot 1 vs slot 2 vs alpha and pmmx vs pII vs merced vs alpha (I assume that intel would try to kill socket 7). Andy is looking at MSFT as an example where the knowledge of upcoming OS gave MSFT software development team an unfair advantage. And sorry if I babble now since it is late and I am tired as well have a nice weekend -Albert
