10:05 STXS Stereotaxis: Positive feedback on early experience with irrigated catheter - Collins Stewart (11.14 -0.17) Collins Stewart says that they had a discussion with a Professor (Gerhard Hindricks, MD, PhD) about his center's initial experience using the Biosense Webster magnetically-enabled irrigated catheter with the Stereotaxis Niobe system. In short, the firm says he was very positive about their early experience with the catheter. The firm expects that initial patient data from a larger number of doctors will be presented at the Boston AF Symposium Jan 17-19, 2008. They believe that the next important step for STXS is for the initial electrophysiology experience to demonstrate that A.F. procedures can be performed faster, safer, and easier using the Niobe system with this magnetically-enabled irrigated catheter.
