Something I've just finally come to the realization of is that I must stay out of the grocery store far more than I've been doing. If it's on sale and something I often use, I buy it. Consequently, I have four shelves in my basement that look like the grocery store. I buy it faster than I use it. But, that's all gonna change this year. I have a 5+ cubic foot freezer that is FULL of steak, roasts, hamburger and at least a dozen ears of fresh corn from last fall. I need to eat most of that so I can defrost the freezer... then start over.
