A presidential election between Obama and McCain would be good for the country. Two distinct points of view and a relatively civil discourse. It would also be an interesting generational match-up. McCain doesn't even qualify as a baby boomer. You have one guy with an extensive record to pick apart, and another guy with a relatively lean record. Does experience matter, or not? It would probably be a close election.

If McCain gets the nomination and faces Clinton, McCain wins in a walk.
