at the moment of crisis
credit dried up
money disappeared
value imploded
jobs lost
wages shrivelled
if not deflation
then what
sure, money no good
so prices of necessities went up by local measuring regime
perhaps something better than ugly deflation
meaning enticing inflation
to be welcomed?

i am guessing we have a different take on definition
and also on where one chooses to stand
