No, the christ character came before the jewish revolt. At that time the Jewish leadership still had firm control of the country and were committed to support the Roman system. By the time of Paul the age of empire had begun, and the Jews were caught up in those groups who wanted to restore the republic (and increased autonomy for Judea). Paul evangelized at a time when the old community was falling apart.
