You apparently have never been to a Texas Homecoming football game but you obviously have the instincts of a true Texan...Last year Dan and I chauffeured CW and date, so I was able to see upclose this incredible tradition, and Freddy, some of these corsages do light up. I kid you not. They have blinking lights around the mum--the girl must have to be wired pre-game. Some were made from teddy bears instead of mums-not little munchkin bears but 12" bears with little football jerseys on. Most of the girls need back braces to get through the evening without permanent damage to their spines. The stadium looks like a convention for teenage girls with early onset osteroporosis. There was a Hansel and Gretel trail of charms out to the parking lot after the game and it occurred to me that this year I should bring a bag and go under the bleachers at halftime to get ready for next year. I could save big bucks.

But Freddy, you're a genius! I don't think I heard one corsage playing music! I leave on the MJDesigns corsage safari in a couple of hours and with any luck I can find a mum that plays the Carroll High School Fight Song!!! The adrenalin is already coursing through my body in anticipation of the hunt.

And I certainly never said you and Thomas were boringly reversible heels.. there is nothing boring about either of you!
