he is for abandoning the income tax and replacing it with a national sales tax which on its face probably appeals to the same stupid people who voted for him but in reality, unless he plans to tax investments like stocks/bonds and housing with a VAT, all it means is the tax burden between the rich and poor as a % of income will be even MORE accentuated with the rich paying a tiny fraction of the taxes in the US. I don't expect his voters to be able to "get that" though.
