The problem with X-ray lithography (aside from the x-ray source) has been the masks required. So far, no one has come up with a good way of focusing x-rays, so the mask features must be the same size as the features on the wafer (rather than 5 times larger, as currently is the case). This means MUCH more expensive masks (at a quality not now available). Don't bet too much, too early.
