Go to google earth and type in Hindu Kush. Look at the terrain , the mountains etc. There is no way we could catch or find someone in there especially since it is in Pakistan where we have to operate covertly. So we have been searching for him but it is a needle in a haystack and once you generally locate him how would we get him. It would take more then a ton of bombs as we dropped those at torabora and did not get him. Helicopters don't work at those elevations so we can't move troops.

Actually AQ attacked us and the flypaper doctrine worked in Iraq. After we got rid of Saddam, we have been busy fight AQ there and have killed many thousands of them. We let them come to us on good ground for us instead of hunting a couple of their leaders in the Hindu Kush which is an impossible task.
