Nope. Kerry wanted to avoid it. Definitely. True military heroism is another thing. John is the real thing. So why not make it the definitely claim. He was a stud in Nam. HE earned the right to say he knows war. Bush doesn't. The GOP was just jealous. Their guy was a wimp and Kerry was a stud and they decided to assassinate him politically. It was a new low in dishonest politics. John never told any lies. The smearvets told 100% lies. Huge difference. Never confuse the two.
