If you look at Zimbabwe, Rhodesia, Switzerland, Singapore, East Timor you will see that how countries are run makes quite a difference to the lives of people who live there. Compare Mao's maelstrom with Deng's and Hu Yaobang's en.wikipedia.org black and white cats.
