THIS SUCKS! When is a forum like SI supposed to squelch free speech? I have posted before that I am sick of the bickering on this thread. I think the constant personal attacks on Tim are WAY OUT OF LINE. He has a different opinion, but at least has the courage to stand in front of a bunch of idiots patting each other on the back because they happen to agree with each other. Daniel, Sorry for the delay but I was away from the computer for 24 hours. The idea of SI is to help consolidate news and read the thoughts of others. Profanity and personal attacks are against rules and that makes sense since there are always a few that act like children. Someone has to keep them in line. I have never seen Tim personally attack anyone. I will go to his profile to be cerain he did not get over excited and post any such attack. I see that a request to have him "reinstated" is no longer timely. The SI hosts are very nice people but it must be very difficult for them to police such a large volume of posts that have become the norm on SI. I personally would like to invite Tim back to the Ascend thread to have his valuable input. I believe it would unfair to say the SI hosts were incorrect in stopping the bickering. They must be using a "cooling down" period. I'd like to see if the jerk who did this has the GONADS to stand up and be counted. These people never stand up for anything. Also, Daniel thank you for the information on Tim. Glenn PS Let's all of us try to keep this thread on a pleasant tract so we may benefit from each others thoughts. Myself included. I learn from polite debates but not personal attacks and I understand the anger that one feels when a large amount of money is at stake. I consider myself a guest of the SI forum. I get a lot news in a timely fashion here not to mention the valuable thoughts of many. I feel strongly SI has helped my investing and definitly my understanding of the networking sector in particular. I never seemed to learn much on the Motley Fool board.
