MRK Is trying to get off the DT coming from its Dec 12 H at $61.62 bigcharts.marketwatch.com In spite of its legal problems from Vioxx, MRK reported better revenues & earnings in the last 3Qs.The pending 4thQ results are also expected to be better than the $0.50 in 2006. The EE for 2007 are around $3.15 vs. $2.52 in 2006 & for 2008 further improvement to around $3.40 is expected.<g> The short ratio came down some in the last month & is now < 2x its ADV. MRK has around $3.50 in +CF Once the stock can close above its Dec H, it will make a 5Yrs H.It seems that it could get to trade around its April 2001 H of $76.49 this Yr.<g> bigcharts.marketwatch.com Bernard
