Thanks, GZ....you and I saw much the same thing last night. I think the problem with Wallace (and it is not limited to Wallace - Blitzer does it, so do many of the others) is that they think asking a question should be a "gotcha" moment. "Mr. Romney, six years ago you said this off the cuff....do you still defend it". Stupid. Why not take their published positions and statements they have made recently...and work from that, but in more of an analytical way to work out details....It seems about embarassing people instead of getting depth.

Still, I agree with you that the forum method is far superior to the staged debates...I just wish the questions and responses were better...and that Dr. Paul was there to add spice.
