AMAT or wait until one of the CIGS thin film co's goes public. Nanosolar says they are on track to being competitive with coal by 2010, but the proof is still lacking. Thin film is competitive right now in Sothern California and in parts of Europe. It is very telling that their first sale of Nanosolar is to a utility scale German customer.

AMAT is interesting because it's a solid Semi selling a trough valuations.

I reviewed water recently and didn't find a pure enough play. -g-. For example, from what I could read, GE is probably the technology leader.
