Mephisto: no, the real problem is a society and system that allows Mr.
Gates and company to basically do whatever they want. Someone needs
to get some guts and take MSFT down a few notches. Put simply, MSFT has violated the intent of their license agreement (it is clear). There really should not be any argument about this issue. The problem is with MSFT not SUNW or ORCL. MSFT is basically a poor corporate
citizen (put in other terms a sh*tty company, and no making tons of money does not make you a good company) and should be punished for such activities. They are allowed to get away with much of this due to
their ownership of large amounts of US Treasury Bills.
