"Huckabee sounds so darn reasonable....the guy really is a good communicator. I expect he is a master at dealing with different audiences...." Yep. Good communicator. Personal touch with folks. Willard, however, seems to play better on a TV screen then in person. (Like the 'Madness of Crowds' post you made which noted that 'his events ended with more seats becoming empty before the event was over'....) I saw some poll results which must be absolutely TERRIFYING for Romney. His support number for REGISTERED REPUBLICANS under the age of 30 was only at 7%! (Imagine how low that number would be when Dems and Independents got added in in the general election....) His STRONGEST demographic was registered Republican women OVER THE AGE OF 70 --- where he was wowing their socks off. (But... at age 42 and down, among registered Republicans, add 'em all up and he barely breaks into double digits. Willard has a SERIOUS PROBLEM appealing to anyone born after the Great Depression.)
