Is it ever REALLY a 'surprise' when you've spent more then all of your opponents combined? When you have out-spend your leading opponent 15 to 1 in advertising? When you were the Governor of a neighboring State (with a shared Media Market) so you have near 100% name recognition with the good citizens of New Hampshire, 'cause they been seeing your face on their evening news shows for years and years now? And, when you been working the State hard like a Red-Headed-Stepchild for a L-O-N-G time now.... I'd say that --- under those circumstances --- if you DON'T WIN, it's almost certainly because the folks there have made up their minds that they just don't like you all that much. <GGG>
