how can a person know if they are "marginal" for a potential health situation until they are tested ? I might add that with regards to the specific tests you mention - I'd bet a lot of people hear about the potential diagnosis but also hear about the discomfort involved with the test. I might think the average person might well want to avoid it if possible...(Or if their wives would allow them to dodge it !)

Also, you say there is no way in h&ll you'd spend 3K on this test - well, what might be the alternative, to risk continuing to suffer because it costs too much to investigate ?
