That doesn't equate "we are now in recession" as you wish to believe.

I never said we were. None of us, including you, know for sure. But the economic signs suggest we are heading in that direction if not already there.

Perhaps. An eventual recession is inevitable. Economic cycles haven't been repealed. Its not a situation that if we elect Democrats, we will never have a recession.
-------------------------------------------------------
Do you honestly think I want a recession? A dem is winning the presidential election with or without a recession.

Perhaps you are unaware of your internal motivations, but yes.

Well dude, a psychologist you are not. Once again, you are embarrassing yourself by making assumptions that have no bearing in reality.

You Democrats seem awful eager for a recession which you are hyping for political benefit. Why not admit the obvious?

------------------------------------------------------

Let me shift the conversation a bit. If we are in recession or headed toward an imminent recession (I consider this a possibility), why would the solution be to raise taxes?

I said to raise taxes only where needed to balance the budget. And if there were to happen I would mainly target the rich elite in this country.

Any tax will have a depressive impact on the economy, will it not? Of course. If one is worried about a recession, why be eager to raise taxes? Particularly when the deficit is shrinking as the economy continues to grow.
