Fair and Balanced? No..this can't be a "simple mistake"...as Buddy reported yesterday. Wasn't it in Orwell's 1984 we had "unpersons"...just never existed in the record..... _______________________________
Fox News Editing Ron Paul out of AP News Stories « on: Jan 06, 2008, 01:09 PM »

Someone over at Paulunteer.com noticed this, and it's quite amazing. First Fox blatantly left Paul out of the New Hampshire round table debate, and now this. Could they be any further from "fair and balanced"? It's amazing that I once considered Fox to be less biased, or at least biased more in my direction. It turns out that if you deviate from their party line at all - that is, the neoconservative Republican establishment (a relatively recent turn for Republicans) - all pretense of journalistic objectivity goes straight out the window.
Anyway, here's the "smoking gun". First, from The International Herald Tribune:

CHEYENNE, Wyo.: Don't forget Wyoming.
It's been overlooked in the hoopla surrounding Thursday's Iowa caucuses and next week's New Hampshire primary, but Wyoming Republicans will caucus Saturday and choose delegates to the national convention in September.
Candidates have paid little attention to the state, though.
Mitt Romney, Fred Thompson, Duncan Hunter and Ron Paul have passed through since September. Mike Huckabee, Rudy Giuliani and John McCain have not.
"Yes, there have been some appearances by the candidates in this state that otherwise wouldn't have occurred this early in the process," said Jim King, who teaches political science at the University of Wyoming. "But candidates are where the media are — in Iowa and New Hampshire."
