Join the party. My nut-job uncle in Florida told me, flat-out, that Obama is a secret Muslim and part of a conspiracy to destroy the country. "Did you know he was educated in a Madrassa, that he lived in a MUSLIM country, and that his middle name is HUSSEIN? Explain that!!".

I'm sure he also doesn't like the fact that he's a "Negro". But he knows that it's not considered polite to say that to "lib" nieces who don't keep Rush and Fox on all the time.

If Obama gets the nod, expect the right-wing Christian fundies to go crazy. This is just the start. It will be ugly.
