Innovotech applies for regulatory approval of Agress 2007-11-22 07:06 ET - News Release Shares issued 16,411,410 IOT Close 2007-11-21 C$ 0.58 Mr. Wolfgang Muhs reports INNOVOTECH FILES WITH THE US ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY (EPA) FOR NOVEL SEED TREATMENT PRODUCT Innovotech Inc. has filed for regulatory approval with the United States Environmental Protection Agency for Agress, its novel seed treatment for diseases of soy and bean crops. "Agress is a breakthrough seed treatment as it is the only product effective against both fungal and bacterial crop diseases. In addition, it has an outstanding environmental safety profile and is cost-competitive with current products," says Wolfgang Muhs, chief executive officer of Innovotech. Soy and bean crops alone represent greater than $500-million in sales potential annually for Agress in North and South America. The company has initial research results indicating the efficacy of Agress in treating other high-value agricultural crops and is currently pursuing these opportunities in parallel with this regulatory filing.
