I'm pretty sure that most young voters in the USA go with the flow and know relatively little about the issues aside from sound bites. There are always those who are politically astute and knowledgeable but I suspect there is more of the crowd mentality than actual, considered thought going on here.

There was the same generational motif going on with the Clintons and his sax playing and Fleetwood Mac campaign song. He stemmed the tide for awhile but the country went right back into stupidity. There has to be systemic change or nothing will really change and we are going to be in deep trouble.

Just my optimistic opinion.

Change is good when things are as they are but they have to be made concrete and institutionalized or things will revert to where they are today.
