JAck, increases in cpq sales is across the board, server, pc's to business, retail, work stations.
next 2 yrs Tandem will help cpq greatly.
You have to be a director of I/S to really see the importance of the Tandem purchase by cpq.
Yes, many may say it's great but their comments are like saying "sex is great by what someone else told them or they read it in a book since they are still a virgin" This tandem piece of the Win NT and clustering is what the 50 billion dollar compnay needs to allow them to run completely off client server with no minis or mainframes.

I expect the other minis to adopt this and the IBM strategy has always been to have their mainframes become a super server...althoguh they never envisioned they would have to be Win NT on a mainframe...GGGG
