"Buddy and Pomp were wrong, again."
----------- Hey, I won't speak for Buddy, but being wrong sometimes is a big part of actually having opinions and trying to think outside the box. I don't buy the idea that "democrats are racist" as the answer for New Hampshire. The analysis goes another direction.....but the so called Bradley effect (which, by the way, is not limited to Democrats), is worth considering..not because we are a racist society but because it is a theory that should be examined, tested and challenged ......you know, like evolution.
If people voted for Hillary because she is a woman, worth noting. Because she cried, worth noting, because she is married, worth noting...If they didn't vote for Obama because he is tall, worth noting....
At some point politics becomes a science rather than an art. We are not there yet..for sure. I am really very happy that the idiot pundits and pollsters are being handed their hats by the electorate. The voters are not sheep in either party...and the independents will be heard throughout this process.
I find it all fascinating.
McCain was given up for dead months ago. Can Romney actually pull this off? Where the heck is Rudy? And Huckabee will likely win both South Carolina and maybe Florida....so where does that put him?
A month from now we will all be still sitting here fulminating over the same issues and people (although some will have left the political wars by then -- bye, bye, Biden).<vbg> |
