The hypocrisy argument has become a convenient excuse for most people. Plenty of people in the church who aren't hypocrites, but I don't think that's going to change the minds of most people.

Same thing applies to environmentalists. Most are self-righteous hypocrites, including Al Gore, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be good stewards of the environment.

Like I said, if hypocrisy is the only sin out there, then Larry Flynt would be a saint.
