McCain advocates open borders and voted twice against Pres Bush's tax cuts. He's cooperated more with Ted Kennedy & the Dems than with Repubs in recent yrs. Those facts could lead someone to assume the senator's not very conservative.
However, age is really his over-riding negative. McCain would be 80YRS OLD at the close of a 2-term presidency.
